Could you explain us a little better the community part of the game? Here's my list of questions regarding this aspect of Aurora Feint:
- Do we have to sign up somewhere, or do we just need to fill the info in the game? - Why do you ask for the telephone number? What about the ones like me who play it on the Touch? Do we miss anything compared to the ones who have an iPhone? - How is the Friends list managed? How can I add a friend, and why would I want to add one? Will I ever be able to "interact" with them (in any way, even simple messages), or is it just to see their stats?
Thanx

Currently the community feature is for seeing your friends stats, and comparing how you do in comparison. You do not need to sign up outside of the community page. We ask for your telephone number an email address as a way to match you up with people that you know. We compare the phone numbers and email registered in your address book to the ones registered as playing our game. We don't store your contacts we simply push you information relating to the people that your device (either ipod or iphone) has registered as knowing. Both emails and phone numbers are compared. You do not actively manage this list. In the future there will be many features associated with you being able to do things with your friends as well as hopefully making new friends through the game. Except for the fact that the phone is more likely to contain more contacts there is no benefit to having the iphone over the ipod touch for this feature.

Thanks for that great reply!
This game is remarkably ambitious! As a solely single player experience it would be impressive in its own right, but your community aspirations are commendable!

Aoshi: The game uses your device's internet settings. So, if you have your iPod/iPhone setup to connect to any available wireless network, then the game will use it! If you're using an iPhone, the game will use your Edge/3G connection if WiFi is unavailable. Hope that answer helps.

I can't wait to see what this game will evolve into, especially the community side!

I can't wait to see where this game will go with the community aspect! I have been looking for a really good MMO for a long time and this might just be what i've been looking for! Not to mention it is already an awesome game in and of itself in the single player aspect.

Unfortunately the community feature is now removed from AF due to spyware and safety concerns.
