The new version (1.0.1.1) is now up at iTunes. It works, but for me it only worked after the following sequence:
1. Downloaded AF separately to my computer and my iPod Touch. 2. Launched AF and it crashed 5 seconds into the opening. 3. Deleted AF from the iTouch. 4. Sync with iTunes on the computer. 5. Forced shutdown of iTouch, followed by restart. 6. AF then launched. I did the whole process with WiFi on, but it didn't find my profile so I started from the beginning. I reached a few milestones and closed the program from the Your Party screen and it re-opened fine, remembering my progress.
There is probably a simpler set of instructions that will work, but this was the path I took and it did work. Judging from past experience the full restart was probably important.
Hopefully the crash problems are now behind us.

Hmm I don't see the update anywhere in iTunes, is this normal? Is it down? EDIT: I checked the iTunes store of the USA (I'm Mexican) and it appears there, so it probably doesn't appear at the same time. BTW there are many different apps there that we Mexicans don't have.

^^ I thought apps appear in every country at the same time. And there should be no difference where you download from. You still get the app, eventually.
