I used to enjoy AF, but with the last couple of updates I have been very disappointed.
I feel the devs are focusing too much on fixing "exploits" and not nearly enough on adding new content and features. Don't get me wrong. I totally agree that there were bugs in the game that needed to be fixed, but there are other areas besides making sure people arent leveling too quickly, or gaining massive amounts of crystals, or severely limiting the way that multipliers work, that need attention.
With the addition of new content or the ability to achieve higher levels, exploits like swiping or swirling wouldn't matter nearly as much. The main problem with those exploits were that they allowed people to "complete" the game too quickly. If the game were more expansive, that wouldn't be such a problem.
With the new updates I would have liked to see: a real use for the timestopper tool, the ability to rewatch the opening cutscene, more magic books; I really enjoyed those, and feel there should have been many more, perhaps 1 for each element at every level, the addition of scrolls already!!, some work done on the multiplayer aspect, a more expansive world; i.e. more places to go, to explore, to mine. Perhaps different mines that are unique in that they are rich in 1 particular element and sparse in others. An actual use for the items such as weapons and armor........and so much more.
But I digress. Danielle and Jason, I thank you for a fun game that kept me entertained for awhile, I thank you for putting your time into this and especially for keeping it free.
Perhaps I will download AF again in a few months and check out the progress then, but I think I am done playing for now.
