I edited the first post, with this addition, and I will post it here as well: A few people have requested a video of this strategy in action. I was able to put one together, but as a fair warning--It's a little clumsy! I did all of it myself, including the filming, and it wasn't easy to balance a camera in a suitable position, and play this game, while leaning over in front of it, and trying to stay within the viewfinder range! Also, I encountered a bug, which prevented my multiplier from increasing. I decided to use this footage, including the clumsiness, and multiplier glitch, to further illustrate my point that anyone can play Aurora Feint, if they use a strategy that works. I used the most difficult part of this game (so far) for this video--A Level 8 Blueprint, using no tools. *** Edit *** I've just been informed that there was no glitch. The trick is to make the pieces fall into place, rather than simply sliding them. I didn't realize that before.

I am so happy you did this (karma). Now I get your screenshots. I made a x4 chain today, it was the best I ever did in AF lol.

Congratulations! I'm glad it helped. It takes practice, but I've gotten up to x60.

After the inital chain I'm finding it hard to keep this strategy going. It's a nice strat though, gonna play around with it come more, so thanks for that.
Gotta see if I can find a niche of my own though.

I uploaded a quick video of me just practicing in the mine. So far, I haven't put together a strategy video - it is more of just a 'walk through' of doing chains.
I have some more footage, and if I get some time, was going to put together the multichain, fast one, push and shove just so you can see how it is done, and the timing.
One good example that stands out is the double vertical chain, with an additional fast one using a vertical fire block chain at 0:14 in the second video. Overall, it makes for a triple multichain. Note the timing on this classic fast chain move - if you move the block too early it will match as 3 and too late and it will do the same.

Also, I encountered a bug, which prevented my multiplier from increasing. good work but there is one error. when you had the "glitch" you weren't actually making more chains. Instead you were just making sets the blocks and keeping the chain going at the same multiplier. So it isn't a glitch unless i missed a point where you would normally have increased the multiplier (if i did miss such a part of the video then feel free to ignore my post). REMOVED: I removed most of the quote but kept the needed part for reference.

I don't quite get what you're saying here. Could you elaborate please? It's possible that I've misunderstood how the multipliers collect. *** Edit *** Nevermind. I get it now. It's funny, because I never distinguished this before! Thanks for hitting me with that gigantic clue bat.

The technique is definitely good for getting the chains started to the point where you have time to stay ahead of the game. It sort of worked for me... (ahem) ;D (yes, that's a 126x multiplier, and no, it isn't 'shopped!) The biggest problem I have with keeping the chain going these days is the tool blocks - I hate 'em! I levelled out at 8/8 without using any. They make it way too hard to set up the next drop.

ok, i have to give two props here. 1st goes to theconfuzed1. i saw your video a little over a month ago i think. it helped me get back into the game because i could not get any multipliers after the update. saw your video and was easily able to get at least a 6x multiplier and then try to hold it from there. i think i have gotten up to like 12x from your demo video. thanks a lot.
second props goes to burtosis. that video is insane man. i remember reading earlier posts about people being upset because of the perceived notion that to get anywhere in the game, you had to used confuzed1's and didn't like the fact that it appeared to be only one way to play the game. they even went so far as to challenge anyone or the developers (one or the other, i didn't go back and look) to show them another way of being successful at the game with out using the 'setup'. well i say, there you have it. burtosis and risen to the challenge and thoroughly blasted away any further criticism that could be directed towards the game and its system. you just have to practice and recognize. i was looking at the video and was amazed because i know that i can do the same thing with time and practice. he wasn't doing anything that i couldn't do. his hands weren't moving a million miles per second or anything like that. he was just able to see the correct matches and drops that would allow his multiplier to build. one of the things that really struck me was that he did not flip the iphone once though out the whole 18 or 19 minutes.
good job to both theconfuzed1 and burtosis for making excellent videos and contributing to the af community in such a big way.
