Air Sharing - Productivity/Utilities (hurry and get it before it isn't free any longer!) 6. Seisomometer - Utilities? (.99 cents, American) 7. a2z pro (the best hidden free conversion app) - Utilities 8. Stanza - Books 9. Galcon Lite - Games 10. Myspace Mobile - Social Networking Remember to include the category where it's found and price if you can. -Edit: If you want, post your new or just wonderful applications you found/find.

Thanks for the a2z Pro heads-up! Best conversion app around yet. And adding your own categories!!! Wow. Here's my top 5. ==>They are ALL FREEBIES [except for 1] ! Or I got them for free anyway HONOURABLE MENTION 21 Pro: Sponsored, FREE, with non-intrusive ads A great blackjack game. With authentic images/visuals, great options (hit, split, double, etc.), good betting, great UI, comes with beginners and tactics guide, with 'Ask the Pro' option, many other options. #6: Super Monkey Ball, SEGA, 9.99 Yes, it's overrated. But considering the crap that's going for 9.99, this is a very smooth game, never crashes, lots of fun. Plus, SEGA put in an update which saves games and adjusts the sensitivity so it's way easier to handle. Worth the 10 bucks. Glad I got it! #5: White Noise, AMSOFT, FREE FOR A LIMITED TIME Personally, I think apps like Ambiance, aSleep, and Relax are overpriced. Yes, they're only 99 cents, but hey, all they're doing is shoving a bunch of loops into a nice UI. White Noise does the same for free. Yes, there are limited sounds, and the UI isn't as nice, but hey, its free, LIMITED TIME, though, and they're adding more as I speak. I think you can download sounds off a central database in the next update. #4: Palringo IM, Palringo, FREE Best IM app ever. Especially since it supports MSN, Google Talk, Yahoo, etc. The recent update was awesome. #3: Aurora Feint, Danielle and Jason, FREE This is really quite self-explanatory eh? I know it's only at #3, but unfortunately it does cause some low memory warnings and etc. When the new community feature gets released it'll probably go to #1 #2: Tap Tap Revenge, Tapoulous, FREE Well, a FREE mobile version of Rock Band/Guitar Hero with like 20 tracks at 4 different levels + a new track every week + an opportunity to win cash and iTunes cards in weekly contests + global leaderboards + use of the accelometer + two player mode + a tutorial??? Wow. #1...The App You've All Been Waiting For....
TRIS! [Which is no longer available on the App Store, see below]
It's basically a Tetris reincarnation, or basically like Tetris, in an elegant interface. Why does this get #1 honours? Because I used to hate Tetris, because it was so d**n ugly, and the controls were horrible! But this is so elegant it got me addicted! My top score is 100000! Beat that! Hah!
Anyway, apparently it violated on the TETRIS(R) trademark, owned by EA, and EA (which has it's own version of Tetris for the iPhone, at 9.99) filed a complaint. Tris was removed in late August I think. The only way to get the app is if you downloaded it before it was removed, so sorry to all who missed out .
SO, the app which is my favourite, which is ON THE APP STORE CURRENTLY, is... #1 (again): Flycast Mobile, FREE It's a free app which streams instant radio. Depending on network speeds, mine spends no time buffering. Plays whatever you want. City guides for US cities. Free. Awesome.

My top 10 are:
1. Jott (Utilities, Jott Networks, free) Keeps my to do list organized and has voice transcribing. You can pay for more extended services and need a server account tho.
2. Aurora Feint (Games, duh, free) Currently my favorite game and taking up most of my gaming time
3. Dizzy Bee (Games, Igloo Games, $2.99 ) Smooth game, no hangs, or crashes. Not to expensive for a paid app. Starts easy and then gets quite challenging to unlock later levels. I've been working on it off and on for weeks.
4. WritingPad (Productivity, ShapeWriter, Inc., free) Has replaced the builtin notepad for my notetaking. I love the way this works for entering notes. I wish the builtin app had this option so that text entry was always like this. Only a 4 because, well, I don't make too many notes lately.
5. Midomi (Music, Melodis Corp., free) Music recognition. I frequently use this in the car to recognize a song on the radio and then bookmark for iTunes download later.
6. Vay (Games, SoMoGa, Ince., $4.99 ) LOVE this game, maybe more than Aurora Feint, but I've topped out near the end and can't get past a certain section. iTunes needs more RPG games like this.
7. Pandora (Music, Pandora Media, free) I have used this on my PC for a long time for streamnig music. Love it.
8. Sol Free (Games, Smallware, free) I like a good game of Solitaire now and then and this one fits the bill. Nice interface, if limited play options.
9. Recorder (Utilities, Retronyms, $0.99 ) Really nice to take voice memos, or record a speaker or something.
10. Moonlight Mahjong Lite (Games, Midnight Martian, free)

For games, AF, Super Monkey Ball, Enigmo, and Texas Hold 'Em. Also, the NES emulator, but you won't find that in the app store. For customizing my iPhone, Categories, and Winterboard, but again, you won't find those in the app store. My favorite [unauthorized] app is Scrobble, which allows me to scrobble my iPod plays to Last.fm in the background. Some of the things that I have spoken of may be taboo for some, but so far, I've seen nothing from the devs that suggest that they are opposed to open discussion of such matters. I actually sent Jason a PM, asking him if it's allowed, but he didn't answer that particular question in his response, which, to me, seems to be implied consent. Actually, now that I think about it, I'm going to send another PM to Danielle, just in case.

DiceBag - Utilities if I remember correctly (or Games) 9. AirSharing 10. Moonlight Mahjong Lite - Games (free) I guess that would be it...some are not in order best-to-worse of course that's from official AppStore Top 10 ;D

I found this today and want to say that if your looking for a Wikipedia application and don't know which to choose, I would suggest Quickpedia. No one has rated it so that must mean it's hardly noticed. This, in conclusion, should mean that nobody knows how usefull it is. Quickpedia is like the same as the other applications but has a easier search function, auto-save capability for viewing arcticles , news, featured arcticles, popular ones and much more features. In the seach tab, it has a special translucent keyboard which let's you see more search results on your screen. It's buttons are large and it looks very slick (not in qwerty order because of the smallness it needs to allow more result viewing).

A cool app that I was recently introduced to is WunderRadio.
It allows you to listen to terestrial radio (AM/FM) on your iPhone/ iTouch!
It shows the bitrate of the station and even rates it as appropriate for Edge or 3G!
If there is a program that you like to listen to, but you either don't have reception, or access to a radio at the time, this is the perfect solution!
You can save stations as favorites, or search by genre. It even gives you a list of similar stations that you may like to try.
If it is an HD radio stream, it displays the track info, and even provides a link to the artists' Last.fm page. The only thing that I can think of that would make it better would be Last.fm scrobbling support.
