I've noticed that Aurora Feint seems to crash when i complete anything, such as finishing smithing something or completing a magic book. It happens somewhat randomly, but has been happening more since it crashed when i gained a level and said "go to store" after gaining two levels previously and staying in the mine. Each time, AF won't re-open until i restart my iPhone. I'm using the old iPhone, the EDGE phone i guess since the new one's called the 3G iPhone.
Maybe if the graphic of the last blocks blowing up was displayed in full before switching to the "you finished something!" screen, it would help fix the bug? I haven't seen the code so i'm just guessing completely, but each time the game freezes the image of the last block being dragged into place (it's still big) is what is locked on the screen.
I have to agree: aesthetically, it would be nice to see the explosion complete. Maybe the screen should darken while the animation finishes to let you know you've reached a goal. Then put up the buttons to go on.
I've had crashes in similar places. I usually have to restart the phone to get it working again.
