When will it be out?
Having a ghost competition is not really one on one, but more of a way of just posting your best 90 sec run online? Or am I mis-understanding something here because it sounds like a slight extension over the free version (could just add a 90 sec mining score or best blueprint times and it is the same?)
Having played these types of puzzle games before, I always found the most exciting thing to be playing head to head where you can influence the other party by your own moves and put the pressure on. Some of the most fun games I have for my iPhone are the p vs p in a head to head action style like iReversi (which would be almost worthless imo otherwise)
That being said, I guess I would fork over the money to see how it impresses me, but would really be hoping to see p vs. p head to head live action (not recorded).
One thing that I hope you fixed is the chain bug. Having 2-5% of your chains fail, just because of a random event internal to your code with no user cues, is not as much fun as a deterministic game - even if you want chains to fail from time to time for no reason. When people pay, they expect a different level of polished code performance across all devices it is rated for use on. I can't say enough good things about the free version.

Any word on the possible price range, and whether or not "The Beginning" will continue to receive development?

I think The Beginnning should release a version with almost no problems. Then we don't need other updates.

This is exactly what it is. We record the moves and the tools used over a timeline and play them back so that they affect the other players game as if real time. There are also some pretty cool ways that the challenging player can affect the ghost. It is not a simple "Who can get the best score in 90 seconds" game.

Heh I wish I have technical possibilities to buy arena when it comes out...it's not problem of money because I will probably find them (if it won't be too high price xD) but the problem is my bank account won't allow me to do that ^_^" Anyway good thing...what about some kind of promotion??? For example first week will be free ^_^"

@ Danielle
That sounds neat in terms of an online mode. So it will be similar to a racing game where you have a ghost (looked cool in speed racer the movie) but without being able to ram or draft the car or something there isn't just any head to head action. I guess that is where the being able to affect the ghost's actions is where this takes a twist?
This to me seems neat, but a 2nd best (without playing it of course, it could be awesome) to a head to head live action. Is there a limitation that apple places on apps, or in their OS, that prevents this from being a future option? Or is something like that in the works for a arena update or another app? Or do you just have other stuff planned for future expansions?
Again, I will prolly buy it when it comes out, so I am waiting for that day. Hopefully it won't be long!

Thus I have to use a credit card...and I want to not use a credit card for iTunes

This is a fantastic idea, plus, it would be easier for the Canadian store and other stores. And if people wanted to purchase the app they could just simply wait the promotion period out.

Nobody in their right mind would wait to pay for something if they can get it for free; even if they really love it. Not a lot of people can turn down something for free. (Assuming it's legit and not those stupid "you won a free trip!" phonecalls lol) Is there any insight about how much the Arena costs? I basically bought crashbandicoot nitro kart, koi pond and glacon and some crappy cheess game (huge mistake) and told myself I wouldn't download any more paid apps. .

It will not be a mistake to buy The Arena when it comes out. It's a pretty big update.

so part of me feels like most of the questions that's have been asked army bening answered for a reason, most likely out of suprise and I'm glad none of the beta testers have spilled anything you few are a highly comendable bunch I was a closed beta tester for the zomg on gaiaonline and it's actually a very important job. Since all of the questions above but one are unanswered I'll take it upon myself to not repeat them but I shall add two new ones to the list of questions and hope that someone answers before I have to find out for myself. First off: will the arena be a seperate app or just a paid update? And secondly: what happend to the story? No books have been published and I was hooked by the intro about the girl will it be furthered in the arena or did the girl just kind die off into the past on accdent? I understand wanting to get more game out but I would have loved to kill the wait for arena with some story action going on. Sorry if that came off as alittle rude it Was not intentional I still love the beginning more then my boyfriend loves bowling on the wii and that's alot trust me lol

I fully agree with you, avoiding something free of charge is a little bit stupid, but theconfuzed1's post meant that there were lots of people in this forum (and the reviewers in the App Store) felt it was right to purchase Aurora Feint, some even encouraged it.
