So I have this choice of subjects this year but two of the subjects I chose clash with each other (the same subject class is held at the same time as each other). Meaning I have to choose one of them. They are Digital Imagery and Year 11 VCE Outdoor Education. For those who don't know what Year 11 VCE Outdoor Education is, it's like Physical Education but it is a Year level higher than mine (I'm going to study year 10). VCE means Victorian Certificate of Education, a big deal. The problem is that I really do like photography, and want to excel in it. I have no idea what to choose

I assume you like both (ie: you're an athletic person + a digital imagery person) Unless you tell me the entire Outdoor Ed curriculum [but don't I'd be bored halfway through ], I really can't tell if it's the focus is fairly recreational [ie: motto=have fun, stay fit, participate, etc.] or fairly competitive [ie: we're gonna develop you from a shrimp to a awesome basketball player sort of thing] If you're going to go to PE to have a bit of fun and maybe stay fit, etc. go with digital imagery. Cuz you can always do that stuff outside of school. However, if you're going to PE to actually learn/develop something, thus it's fairly competitive, go with PE.

Decide what you want to do for a living when you graduate. Are you going to college? If you're not planning on going into recreational sports or sports medicine, what benefit would #2 have for you?

Hearing that the Digital Imaging class next year is the almost the same as this years, it wouldn't be worth it. And yes, I would have chosen Digital Imaging because I want to be a Freelance Photographer in the future. I've decided to choose Year 11 VCE Outdoor Education next year; and to study Year 11 Photography in 2010. Thanks for your help
