Stumbling into the tavern

When I click on the Tavern from the World screen, nothing happens for two seconds, and then the chat area appears. During those two seconds, there is little indication that my tap was accepted, so I tend to tap again. When the chat area does appear, my second tap is then interpreted as clicking on a chat line, which takes me to someone's profile page, which I didn't actually want to load.

It would be better if the chat area appeared more quickly. If that's not possible, there should be better feedback for the initial tap and my impatient "second tap" should be ignored.

This happens to me too. Ironically, I accidentally tap the bottom row quite often, unintentionally entering the tavern, but any time I attempt to do so purposefully, it doesn't work!

can you chat in the tavern? i have a blank board at the bottom of screen but my keyboard doesn't pop up. I try removing and replacing the app, but still nothing

Have you tapped that blank board? That should work.
