So what's the deal with this? Make us pay 8 dollars for the Arena and then basically bring it to The Beginning for .99 cents?

Perhaps those that downloaded it for free will get it as a free upgrade?
Also, will this pose a problem for people wanting to play Beginning and Arena? I have not played the Beginning for awhile because I did not want any account problems or difficulties.

I deleted The Beginning as soon as I got The Arena. Doesn't The Arena have everything that The Beginning does?

I haven't played the Beginning since The Arena either.
Maybe I reading the description in the iTunes store wrong, but it sounds like they're bringing features from the Arena to the Beginning.
For just 99 cents instead of 7.99.
So why did I pay 7.99 for a "new" app, when they're bringing it to the old app for 7 dollars less.

The Arena is where you can create a ghost, and battle those of other people. Without that, it's not the same game.
I also suspect that there are new things in store for The Arena to further differentiate the two.
