I am spending some serious time helping people out with their problems, so please direct all questions my way. My email is "dcassley@gmail.com". I will do most the help from there and will be monitoring this thread and a couple others.
Below are a few of your problems and first approach ways to address them.
Lost Your Account
These are the most common problems:
a. You are playing Aurora Feint: The Beginning, type in your username and password but cannot transfer/retrieve your account and character.
b. You are playing an Aurora Feint II game and are being asked to create a new account and character when you should already have one.
c. You got a new device and cannot move your account and character to the new device.
If you are experiencing one of the above issues please visit:

If you are unable to fix your account problem at the above website or are having a different problem please email me with the subject "Personal Help Needed".
AFII: The Beginning and AFII: Arena Crashes on Load after the Update:
There were two problems here each with a different fix. One was related to upgrading from the old beginning to the new game. To fix this you should simply have to reopen the application. We are aware of a problem where if you were playing when the change was made to the server... ie. 2am PST Jan 4th... you will need need to contact us currently to get the problem fixed. The other problem was related to save files being corrupted on update. An uninstall and reinstall from the appstore on the phone will fix this problem. If the below doesn't work please email me with the subject "Aurora Feint Crash". Below are explicit directions:
- Uninstall the game by pressing and holding the launch icon on the home screen of your device
- Reinstall the game from the appstore on the device (not the one from the computer). It is VERY important you use the device store as you need to ensure the old save files are not copied over.
AF: The Beginning crash
Please make sure you have the most up to date version of the game! This should be fixed in the most up to date version
AF: The Beginning, username not unique problem
Please contact me, there is a fix for this issue. Note that a response may not be instant but it will come.
Got the "If you have the Arena..." message or the "connected" message
Your internet connection may be weak. Trying again should work. Slow or spotty internet is the cause of this problem. If this is a frequent issue please let us know.
Your levels are incorrect
- If you are past the account setup and your levels look incorrect please email me
- If you are not past the account setup and are a new AFII: The Beg or AFII: The Arena player and still have AF: The Beg on your phone. Please close the AFII app you are using, return to AF: The Beg and use the "Sync With Remote" button on the profile page. When that button becomes unclickable you are synced and should return to the AFII: app.
Your ghost disappeared.
- It may have magically reappeared! Our servers were experiencing bog downs from heavy traffic. Your ghosts are safe. Our server load has been addressed and this problem should go away.
