Hi there, 2 very quick and hopefully very simpe questions. Does this have a story? Can I play on my own offline? (Meaing do I have to play online with others?) I ask these questions because I hate MMO's, they do my head in, but I love games like Tetris Attack. And the story thing is because I love RPG's and puzzles and Puzzle Quest got me hooked for ages. Played over 80 hours before I got sick. But it's because it had a story, it had a point as to what I was doing and why. So I need to know if this has a story, because I've heard nothing of the sorts, and I can't stand just playing and leveling up for no reason. It just gets boring and makes me wonder why such a simple game has been over complicated (Like in this case, it'd be like "Why can't I just play the puzzles, why do I have to do all of this buying weapons and leveling up skills crap? It's not as if this is saving the world of Aurora Feint"). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Hello
Does this have a story? Sort of. In the Beginning, the devs introduced the idea that it was a little girl's fantasy, but that is apparently lost in the Arena. So no.
Can I play on my own offline? (Meaing do I have to play online with others?) Yes. But if you intend to play offline, then I would suggest you try Aurora Feint: The Beginning. It contains most of the features of the Arena, without the online capability, but it is free.
I'm assuming that you want a simple game. In that case, the Beginning, for free, should be enough. Try that first, and if you think you want to go and play online, then you can buy the Arena. You can also try AF: Tower Puzzles, a collection of tower puzzles for 99cents.

It doesn't really have much of a story yet, I'm not sure what's in the works for a next patch.
The levels and tools give you a goal and make it interesting, as well as adding some great stategy.
Arena isn't conventionally player vs player, but you make a "ghost" which is always avaliable to be dueled, and people will challenge it, as you can challenge other peoples. Most people seem to just like trying to summon a new ghost, which consists of getting the highest score you can in 1:30.
You can still mine and all that offline, but for it to save your ghost you have to be connected.
