I would like to see some new strategies for summoning develop. Right now though, it seems, that everyone is playing with the same tools, and the same strategy.
I would like to see some adjustments made to the tools that aren't being utilized as much.
Obviously, I think it's safe to say that Illusionist and Sorcery are fine as they are. I would say that Alchemy and Strategists are good too, but they aren't used as often, because it's just far too advantageous to use the currently popular Illusionist+Sorcery combo.
I think one thing that could change things up a bit is the Time Stopper. It has a lot of potential, but in its current state, it will never see that potential.
As it is now, it doesn't really affect time in any way at all! It affects the speed of the game, but not the actual time.
I would change it so that the game speed is normal, but the timer actually freezes at its current position. I would also freeze the multiplier for this time--it doesn't move up or down.
I think that would be an interesting change that I would definitely try, and I think others would as well.
I think that by making this change, some of the other tools may get more use as well, as people will use them together.
What do you guys think?

I use timestopper as my third tool to keep the multi... Please do not freeze the multiplier so that it can't change when you use this tool. Or.. At least don't stop it from growing. Disabling a loss of the multi would be nice though! I agree however with your basic idea. Take dreameater: I find it more of a hindrance than a help! Perhaps allowing it to change from just hovering the blocks into allowing the multi to increase by x3 for every match made while it's active? Well, that's my bit, hope I made sense.

The reason for the suggestion to freeze the multiplier in place, would be to prevent it from becoming too strong. Remember this thread is about tool parity. . I've honestly never noticed anyone ever using the current Time Stopper. I think this adjustment would change that. Although, you wouldn't want to give it an extreme advantage over the other tools. I also believe that Dream Eater could very much use an adjustment as well. Perhaps, it too, could freeze the multiplier for it's duration. After all, as long as pieces are floating, they haven't fallen yet, right? Actually, that tool is different enough, in the way that it is manifested, that it may even make sense to allow the multiplier to increase while it is in effect. I think these small adjustment will add some much-needed diversity to the game. Look at the leaderboard--it's 95% the same tools for everyone!

Dreameater is a powerful tool - but it requires some strategy when placing it. You have to be ready to start setting up matches for when the blocks fall down out of the antigravity field, if it's horizontal. And if it's vertical, you have to slide blocks into the field that will only match when they fall so you get the multiplier. Obviously horizontal is much easier to use than vertical.
