I have been playing earlier versions of puzzle league since Tetris Attack first came out on the SNES in 1996. My experience from earlier games has taught me the the best and ONLY way to achieve a high score is to focus soley on high-chain multipliers. However Aurora Feint II: The Arena and Puzzle League Planet have thrown in a new ways to achieve a higher score, or in the case of The Arena, a higher strength. The Arena combines the score you achieve with hostility points to achieve a higher strength level. What I want to know is how exactly do you achieve hostility points; for example, with the monkey, toad, or turtle in which these daemons have no special powers that add to your hostility? I have seen some high scoring monkey ghosts that have an equally high amount of hostility points. Does it have to do with the type of weapons used and if so, which are the best weapons to use to achieve an overall hostile ghost?

You're right about the multiplier. Get it as high as you can, as fast as you can, and maintain it for as long as you can. Use your tools early, because they help to contribute a higher multiplier. As for hostility, make matches as quickly as you can, and make orb attacks at every opportunity. The tools that help to create matches quickly help contribute to a higher hostility. Find the tools that fit best with your style of play, but keep in mind, that some tools do have advantages over the others. Take a look at the leaderboard to see the favored tools of top scorers.

I'm not a pro but I think the 2 best deamons to get an high hostility are snake and lion. As for hostility if you have an high multipiler it's good because it will 1 increase your base score 2 increase your hostility and 3 increase the overall strengh, I'm not so good making orbs but I think they are ''The Kings Of Hostility'' one of my af friends had an 60k strengh ghost with max multi like 7x and 37 orbs.. I have an 65k strengh ghost with max multi 74x and only 2 orbs but my score is like 40k.. If I made 10/15 orbs ore probably I would be rank 2 on wlb... so if you want a ''bad'' ghost I think you have to concentrate more on orbs..
As for weapons I used illusionist alchemist alchemist but are good also illusionist alcheimist illusionist or illusionist alchemist sorcerer, alchemist alchemist sorcerer. With illusionist alchemist you set the multicolor alchemist.
You can find here on the forum the better setups to get an high multi.

My favorite is alch - illusion - alch
Where you set up the first four way alchemy to start (no chain to maintain) then use illusion to set up the final four way alchemy. This generally gets x60 to x70.
Triple illusion is also good, and you can work in more orbs.

What i personally do (and i got advice from shadeslayer) is focus my entire first half of the fight on my muliplier. I use the Alch - Illussion - Sorc combo, which generally ends me at anywhere from 28-38 multiplier. I focus on maintaining that multiplier for as long as possible. As soon as that multiplier is gone i focus on orb attacks and only try and make matches five. if u did the first step well enough, you should be able to make any match of 5 and get the orb attack without doing any additional matching. i hope this helps PS - i recently switched to the rabbit daemon, and that seemed to help ALOT. Especially when i was maintaining my multiplier. I convinced my parents to buy the game. living at home has its perks

okay thanks. I mean...with a 100% bonus...thats basically double of the multiplyer. So if your at 120 multiplyer, which is wher ei get to after i use my three weapons, thats literally 240 multiplyer --->almost 800 points per match
