I have pretty much gotten out of the game. Its not fun having 100,000 extra honor, 300,000 extra resources, and absolutely nothing to be excited for. That and competing against a ridiculous wave of cheaters was enough to tip the scales for me, by a large margin.
Also, this issue of performance on iP(od/one) leads me to believe that any real competition or challenge in this game is going nowhere. Why the hell would I play anymore when my skill is outmatched by anothers processor lag?
I am with you man, it would be nice to have something to stick around for, if not I could use the space for some more songs on my iPod, 'cause I feel like playing anymore is like beating a dead horse, that cheated. But I guess they already have my money, what's the point in expediting things now, right?
I will say that I have seen countless threads by the devs saying "Will Update" or "We'll let you know when we know more" or "We will post here when we know something." Of all of them, I can't remember one instance where either have come back to explain anything. In fact, it's a real annoying pattern. I hear so many people talking about how wonderful their customer support is, but quite frankly, I don't see it. Everyone in their position is expected to help resolve account issues, but they are exalted for it when in reality, there is absolutely no communication between the devs and the real community. Just take a look at all the feature ideas, and how many of them have had even a two-letter reply? 0.
Overall I am disappointed, it would be one thing if we were kept in the dark and it had always been that way, but they seem to portrait a "We are right here listening and ready to act."
The "Aurora Feint Status Updates" thread is a complete joke. The forum activity has taken a nosedive. Blah.
