That's WAAAAY more thinking that I've ever put into it. Here's my logic: Ooh look...2 blocks, I wish I had another one that looked like those 2 there. Oh, there's one...YAY I JUST MINED 3 BLOCKS!!!! lol This is how I play, This is how my soundtrack goes, tap, tap, slide, slide, slide, burst blocks, tap, tap, slide, slide, slide, burst blocks, tap, tap B*tch!

Just my experience, I need to "turn" left or right every so often to make things easier for me. You do hurt your multiplier potential but it's easier to stay in the game until you can better visualize combo setups on the fly. It'll take more than a week for me to get good at this...
In case anyone was curious, you can add one row of blocks by doing a 180 (turning the iPhone/iPod touch upside down, brings down the row of blocks not yet in play) and then another (that's when a new row comes in). For extra fun, shake the phone/touch kinda like a soda can, but less violently, of course. If you get it right, you'll add 2 rows.

lol that's kind of how hardcore of a gamer I am. Unless we're talking about halo 3...that's an entirely different story. I play that game sooo much it's almost sickening to even me!

It will work out for you Mav, it takes a bit just to get used to the play. Basically I realized I was doing less and less flipping, then I realized I could do it without flipping at all, after that I was hooked

It is easier if you just use two fingers on the screen to slide the blocks up. Get as many rows as you want that way.

Lol, that's what I'm told...see, I'm not very good at these "realistic" games which is why I must submit to "gaylo" lol.

But seriously it has been almost proven that non-flipping or "stationary" gameplay is faster than the flipping method. When you say 7xs do you mean moves where 7 blocks burst or moves where you get 7x multiplies after doing 7 moves in a row?

Well, I am not really *that* good or anything.
The key to not having to flip is not wasting time with the flip animation. ;D
