Freshly purchased blueprints seem to have the "buildability" flag set wrong (possibly inverted). Usually I just can't build ones I have resources for, but I built one where I didn't have enough resources and it made that resource go negative. The workaround is to go in the mine briefly -- you can leave right away and the blueprints will be set correctly.

Agreed. This happened to me a couple times too now where I clearly had enough resources but couldn't build something. It only started happening in the later levels for me though. Go mine some more or build something else and it's fixed.

(See example below of what was happening to me, re: Sand Storm -- I had enough resources but it still wasn't selectable).

One simple visual indicator that could be added to show which resource you lack would be this:
On the line containing the Blue Print or Spell Book in question highlight the number under the resource that is lacking.
In other words if you have:
1450 - 35 - 890 - 1239 - 1003
And the Spell Book required
0 - 100 - 100 - 0 - 0
Then it would display like:
0 - 100 - 100 - 0 - 0

That way we know quickly what we need. Edit: Looks like the problem of not being able to build something we should has been fixed already and will be out in the next update.
