I just reset my levels and played through the first round. Leveled up Strategist (the only option) then bought the Strategist blueprint (the only option). Then went to The Smith and I can't select he blueprint. I tried just tapping Build Blueprint, but it just tells me to select one first. After which I tried to go back to the map and the game crashed and won't load back up.

When that happens to me, an iPhone reboot usually does the trick. I've had to do it twice today (and I've played for a few hours.) In the blueprint, make sure you have all the resources you need to create the tool... In most cases, you don't have enough wind.

You need the right amount of resources listed on the blueprint. Otherwise it will be grayed out. For me anyway, I usually need water (I wonder if the elements are the same for everyone). The same applies in the tower.

I've got the same thing going on ...not being able to select a blue print. I never had this problem before the update.

I understand now. it does seem like Water is much lower than everything else.

The resource is actually wind that keeps running out. All the things use wind, and they are not in the same order as in the mine. As far as things goes, I have actually been allowed to play in the smith without having the proper amount of resources and the resources for wind then went into a negitive number when I was finished. I'd post a screenshot, but I exited, and upon returning, wind now shows a 0 value.
