I'm not sure I could duplicate this bug, but I had a clock tool block get "stuck" on the screen. There was no block underneath it, but I couldn't move any other blocks into that space (I wish I had screen capped it). The tool block kept rising like normal, but when it hit the top of the screen, it didn't end my game - just prevented the rest of the blocks from being able to rise. I couldn't do the two finger swipe to get more blocks either. I was still able to move the other blocks on the screen around, though, but since I didn't have any available moves, I had to back out and end the mining game.
Very odd...

Is this what you mean? I ended up clearing the whole screen but that one and one other, but I couldn't get anymore rows. I was able to press the arrow and Stop Mining, then go back, so the game didn't crash, just got stuck.

I think I had this happen and turning the device upside down and back fixed it. If you can duplicate it, try that. Peligra: you have a major crystal jump between the two shots. How'd you do that without getting any more rows?

I had a very similar occurrence. A tool block got stuck on screen and could not be moved. More blocks would come, but the rows would stop once the tool block got to the top of the screen. There seemed to be filled blocks around the stuck one (notably 2 invisible blocks above the stuck one) I was able to keep the rows coming by turning over my ipod when the tool neared the top of the screen. (oh, and in my case I was stuck in a 'combo' move so the multiplier kept increasing).

I had the same thing happening to me. I wasnt doing anything irregular. I wasnt tilting or anything. Just playing the game upright. Here is my screen cap:

asmeurer: I'm just "that" good. j/k. Like the others said, the last row came into the screen and stopped there (when the stuck block reached the top) and I just cleared them. I guess it's my style of play, but that';'s how I normally function. I pull about 4-5 lines up and clear the whole thing away (as best as possible) and pull up another 4-5 rows. I usually have 1-3 blocks as "left-overs" from the first set. The weird thing is I noticed the stuck block first when I tried to move it to make a combo and couldn't. I was about to hit the top, so I tried something else and it worked. Then all of a sudden it was hovering and I thought, whoa that's weird, better get a shot of that.

This happened to me too. I was playing this morning and the hammer got stuck at the top. I couldn't pull up any more rows, but I could still tilt my ipod to get more blocks out. The multiplier got stuck "on" as well, so I was up to 30x. (I sorta felt like I was cheating, but then I figured that since my game has crashed at least 5 times in the last two days, and I've lost all of my crystals, that this kinda put me back on track.) I also kept tilting my ipod to try to get blocks under the hammer to try to "pop" it, but no luck. All I did was get all of the other rows too high, and I couldn't pull blocks out of the way fast enough because the darn hammer wouldn't move! So, I got kicked out of the level. oh well.

Hey Guys,
So I have seen this once across all the hours I've played and all the hours my family and friends have been playing to help us debug everything.
Can anyone reproduce this at will? Is so post a step by step, this is one of the biggest quirks I want to fix before putting the next release out!!!
PS: Serious kudos to the person that figures this one out!

Reproduction might be easier if we could control which blocks come up. I'm assuming you guys have that debug power.
Anyway, I think it has to do with turning the device upside down, and it seems to be related to the hammer tools.

The problem is with the way that the blocks fall and shouldn't have any problem with which block it is. When I saw the bug it happened with a hammer block and several of the ones above occur with the essence blocks, so I am pretty sure it is block independent and related to an interesting case in twisting and flipping the phone that we have not thought of.

Well, I have noticed that when you make a combo upside down and then flip back, the combo will stay at the top until it explodes. It's probably related to that.
