Would it be possible for the developers to post somewhere their planned release schedule for the game? I would personally like to know when future updates might arrive. I know that apple can affect the dates by how quickly (or not) they release the updates. I've just not seen any posts indicating how often patches will be pushed out. Thanks

Why would you need a release schedule?
The game currently has issues, I would wait for those to be fixed before asking for much more.

Personally I'd like to know if we are talking days, weeks, or months until they are going to push out the next version. Certainly they have some kind of time frame in mind.

Have you considered the possibility that people may be waiting for a version with less bugs? Personally, I'd welcome an update that didn't even include anything new, if it brought me stability.

Jason has commented in another thread yesterday that they're aiming for a new release towards the end of this week.

From previous discussions, they sound like they are going to keep trying to make incremental updates available (that's why it's 1.0.0.0 to 1.0.0.1 to 1.0.0.2 etc.) and sound like they're striking a balance between wanting to send out stable software and recognizing that the best testers are users and that people really want updates.
If you're someone who is waiting for a version with less bugs, hopefully Apple will set up the beta test program relatively quickly, so the developers will have a way to make the software available to those who are clamoring for it and are willing to mess with it errors and all while also providing a more stable product to other users simultaneously.
I for one have been impressed thus far!

I still dont know why you would want a release schedule? Any schedule at this point would be worthless....bugs take time to fix.
I can make up dates in my head and tell you when releases might be coming out. The only thing the dates are going to do is piss you off when the software isnt ready by the dates.
Just be happy that the bad PR hasnt killed this game and that updates are at least still being talked about.

You could always just not look at the dates if it makes you that mad.

Of course, they may not have much say in when releases hit the world anyway, since they have to go out through the Apple Store, which they don't control.

I am sure when they are ready for the next update they will let us know...but to publish dates for updates to v2, v3, v4, etc is asinine. Being a Dev I understand the fustrations that they are going through.... I also applaud them in setting up this forum but I caution that it may be more trouble than its worth. Users will bleed them dry with requests for enhancements.

Hey everyone.
We have posted elsewhere on the forum that there will be a "stabilizing" release at the tail end of this week. We should submit this release to Apple sometime this weekend. Bugs take time and how much time is not always pre-determinable. However, we do want to get this out ASAP.
The timeline for future releases and significant features will be released slowly. At this time I can say that you will have a new and interesting feature within a couple weeks.

thanks danielle for the update. this info is very encouraging to me as i was playing af it was causing the app crash (in a variety of ways!) constantly so i was constantly rebooting my phone. that really sucked as my husband had purchased the iphone for me as a birthday present because my old phone was crashing constantly. i was debating on whether or not to wean myself from the game until the next patch came through to stablize things but now i won't have to =D thanks for a great game!
