As this game is so fun and a hard to stop playing, I would love the iPod battery indicator to be present in all the screens instead of having to go back to the main iPod menu to see if my game playing has consumed my battery.
Thanks for the game, very fun.

I agree with this I also notice that my game crashes when I get the low battery messages. That will help me get off the game before it crashes

Yeah I agree, I don't think it'd be too hard to put it in, but keep in mind it will shrink the screen a little.. Or, it could also not if they just put it ontop of the standard screen.

Ill look at it. We needed the space it took up for the game, well see if there is a way to squeeze it in there somewhere, or maybe show on the pause screen or something.

i know this wont exactly help, but af is frankly, a power hungry app i know because of all the animations and the huge game and because of all these features, it has to be big, but could you consider like a energy conservation mode, or something, where unnecessary animations are removed somewhere down the road
because im addicted to it and i can only play for like three hours before my ipod shuts down...

I would recommend on the pause menu, don't shrink the game down just for a battery life indicator.

I think the battery life indicator shouldn't be too much of a worry if you just found a way to reduce the amount of battery it drains. Even on full charge, the app takes at least HALF of the bar from half an hour of gameplay.

I could probably get about 3-4 hours of battery life playing Aurora Feint non-stop with speakers and all radios on at mid-brightness (with all radios off, lower brightness and headphones, that should probably go up to 4-5 hours). Considering that game-centric devices like PSP get maybe 4-6 hours, that's not so bad.
If you're still getting only 1 or so hours of gameplay out of a full battery charge even after a recalibration (completely draining the battery and recharging to 100%), you might have a bad battery/warranty repair issue.

I've just gotten used to playing with my iPhone tethered to my computer while I play. Otherwise, my battery drains like a sieve.

I guess we can't have our cake and eat it too eh? I freaked out when my battery started draining faster. I'm glad I've sourced it down to AF so I at least know the hit I'm taking when I'm playing the game.
Now where is that solar powered USB charger?

If you really want to save battery, turn off wifi and manually set the brightness as low as you can. Also, turn off push an make non-push mail, etc. check as little as possible. if you have an iPhone, i think there is an airplane mode which will help, especially if you are roaming.

I'd assume that in later releases of touch and iphone the battery life will be better to work with the applications.
