no more power offs or ipods or anything just follow the steps
ok so i have the iphone 3g and i was experiencing the same problem with the freezing and not loading. Basically i read in an earlier post that it might be an audio problem and was suggested to listen to a song on the ipod before loading the game again...many people later posted that it still would not load after listening to music. The game does have a bug where the game will not load if it crashed due to an audio problem. It crashes when two tool blocks are on top of each other, due to two different sound effects trying to play at the same time. Basically heres what to do....
Step 1: before you click on the game adjust your volume on the side of the iphone or itouch (either up or down, preferably both that's what i did)
Step 2: click the game and as it is loading ( where it says "takes about 30 seconds to load") adjust the volume in the same manner.
this may not fix the problem but it identifies the problem...the only time this game crashes/freezes/does not load is when the two tool blocks are next to eachother. the reason why it crashes is because it is making multiple sound effects and the game cannot generate such an affect so it freezes. hopefully danielle and jason will get to this problem before the next update because apparently it is a major problem if not the ONLY problem.
thejuggler - I see from your sig banner (specifically where it shows your resource levels) that I am not the only one for whom the air resource is WAY more utilized than any other resource. Does anyone know if this happens on purpose, or if it is a bug? Has this been discussed elsewhere in the forums? Thanks.
The wind resource has been used more than any of the other resources. There was a post from Danielle saying that they have adjusted the balance of the resources to make this slightly less painful on Wind.

i havnt read the post for 188.8.131.52 but apparently many other people havent as well. It seems to me that every day there is a new post about the same issue at hand. Maybe we can make one general post on how to fix the problem until update is released. Like this one
this is my only thread it was posted awhile ago and im pleased to say that this thread has actually helped others...so the so called "curse of the forums" might just be a curse for you. stop being so negative why does it bother you so much that theres an extra thread thats intended to help others. if you dont like it just read another thread its simple. thanks juggler
Well, I have the iPhone, and unfortunately this solution didn't fix the problem for me. Not to say that it won't for others, but just that it hasn't for me. And yes, I did the volume thing twice, once before, and once during the loading.
Here is hoping that the update corrects this and that I don't have to start over!
