Not really digging the new Aurora Feint icon. Maybe just use one large block instead of 9 tiny ones? Or have one large block with the AF logo in it or something.

I like the one used in iTunes. If you select the app in iTunes and look at the icon in the album art viewer, you can see it larger. It looks better that way.

We changed the icon so that people who are just browsing through the store might have a better idea what kind of game AF is. If you guys have any ideas for a better icon... post it up here. We're open to changing it. 'cause, to be honest, we're not huge fans of it either.
We did try one block and it looked funny since the blocks have borders.

I couldn't even tell that the fire was being moved over until I saw it big in iTunes. How about one of the Tower balls?

Jason,
As a suggestion, why not go back to the original 'leaf' icon as was used on the application once installed, but overlay the A and F of Aurora Feint over the leaves. The leaves are almost the right shape for the A and F to sit nicely over them.

I was just thinking that the alchemy tool would make a cool icon.

I found AF because it had a high rating and a high download count and it was free. Then I opened up the page, and checked out the screenshots. You can't try to condense your description page into the icon. The old one was good, simple. Changing it to one of the tools would work too, although it would be similar to the old one. I like the idea of superimposing the letters "AF" over the old icon, using the same font as the loading screen. Either way, the icon is of very little importance to me. As long as its unique and I can identify it quickly, thats all that matters. After all when I want to play AF I'll only see the icon for about a second.

^^Agree. Don't judge a book by it's cover. the icon should not matter. A high rating, good review and a screenshot will make the game popular.

I have to agree that I like the old icon more, but more I don't like the new icon. It's hard to see and I know the game.

Honestly, I don't get what the big deal is. You don't play the icon.

the icon can stay as is until more of these bugs are taken care of...in the meantime more users will get addicted to af and world domination will roll around within a month or two.
