I can play AF for about 30 minutes and then I start getting the "Out of Memory" error. If I don't address it immediately, my Phone locks up. First the screen loses touch-control,then the video freezes. I have to reboot (Home/Lock)
The problem is, it almost never wakes back up. It sticks in start-up mode (Apple Symbol) and goes no where. Once I was able to get it back after a few hours... but most times I'm forced to put it in recovery mode and restore from back up.
This problem has only happened on my 3G phone while playing AF and Quordy.
Any suggestions?

Hm, I've seen the memory message but it has yet to freeze afterward, not sure if it's disk space it's referring to or not. If it isn't, not too sure how to help that.
As far as the lack of the phone fully restarting, I've seen that happen with my phone occasionally, but in several different apps so it's more than likely a phone thing rather than AF. Have you upgraded to the 2.0.1. iPhone firmware? That might help as it addressed a lot of crash bugs from the 2.0 software.

I get the same thing, but my phones never locked on me. I just close the game and reopen it.

Yup, I have upgraded to 2.0.1. I'll probably contact the fine folks at my local Genius Bar. I'm suspecting something is wrong with the phone.

I've experienced similar instances before in 1.0.0.1 where I was mining, game freeze, and takes a few minutes to quit to homescreen, then loses touch function/becomes nonresponsive, and then goes back to normal in 10 minutes or so, but that was before 2.0.1. Since 2.0.1, I've had no problems.

This seems to be a constant issue now with their recent upgrade of the game. Constantly getting low memory messages with this game and I just got it about 2 weeks ago and it's not a problem with the phone. It only started happening after your recent upgrade to the game. I'm going to have to uninstall this game if it keeps giving me this error message.

The message is to be removed in the next update (1.0.1.1). It is a hand coded message, which a number of apps out there have. I was getting it a lot but having powered off my phone and restarted, I don't seem to be getting it much now. It is definitely more prevalent when browsing the inventory.

I'm glad the message is going as it did cause me to panic the 1st time I saw it as I've got 10Gb of memory free!! The last time I saw this type of message was on someone's wind-up PC ;D

I too keep getting the "low memory" warning. I have plenty of free space, but it sounds like it has nothing to do with that. Has anyone investigated this to see if it is a problem with the game or with the phone?

My guess it's that a hard to track down memory leak, or the application is just too demanding in its current form and needs some performance tweak and better memory management.
