Apparently, if you do something like this ooxoo ooxoo yyAyy oowoo oowoo
Where x, y, and w are essence blocks and the 'o's can be anything you want, as long as they don't pop. Then you replace A with an alchemist tool, which then removes four out of five essences. Then, there's only one essence left, making it easy to clear the board.

That works too, though I think it takes too long to setup. The Skull requires no skill and is almost always setup on a random block replacement, and you get quite a few blocks out of it (the number depends on how high you have leveled it). If the alchemy actually added the blocks it destroyed, I would recommend that one over the skull, but it doesn't.

I am a new member to the forum, though have been reading as a guest previously. I am concerned that (since the upgrade I think?), I am no longer to build blueprints or even come close! I have not gotten past the low 60%ile in completion. Either I am a real dolt on this game or perhaps there are skills I have not mastered or even become aware of to help me progress. The blueprints I have tried multiple times and am not able to build include: Dreameater: Wave of Wonder Sorcerer: Burned out Alchemist: Essence of Under Time Stopper: Blown Away Looks like I have also solved all of the Magicbooks. Might anyone have a word of encouragement or perhaps direction. What am I missing here? The game has lost it's luster as I can no longer figure out how to advance. Many thanks!

I was having serious trouble with the blueprints, but then I reset my character and worked my way up again. Level 6 ones still took me 2-3 attempts each... I'm gonna freak out if they haven't made this a little easier by the time I make it to level 8.

Since the update I'm unable to get any of the blueprints at all. I'm really fed up as there's no point in me attempting them a great game ruined IMHO If I'm missing a trick here I'd love to know (sigh).

You know... I restarted once I had trouble, and I've gotten much better at the game. The only trouble I had was on a couple of the level 6 boards that required 140 of two resources. I have found it's much easier to get 100 of all 5 elements (which is the case on levels 7 and 8.) In fact, I did both of those for my Furie tool on the first try.

I'm only having trouble on the last available Blueprint, the resource distribution is insane!
its (3) 75 and (2) 250
The highest I've gotten is around 80% of the blueprint done and that's only becasue I can't get anywhere near enough of the (2) 250, maybe 150+ each at my best.
Other than that I found the game fairly challenging but never over difficult

This being an MMO, and one 'M' being 'multiplayer' - surely it would be logical to have some levels and 'powerups' only be achievable by linking up with other players and working together. Perhaps this could be the direction to head with these 'hard' higher levels. - just a thought Volly

Talk about addicting- I only got the game to begin with since it was free (yeah i do like to go cheap on phone games as I spend way to much money on PC games) However I am spending nearly as much time playing this as I do the PC. I am however having extreme difficulty doing "Black Nothingness" at the 3rd level. I had done it once before but had to start over as everything was acting buggy(cant use the wi-fi downloader or everything goes to crap when an update is available). and now I am stuck on this one. Like someone said in a previous post the difficulty seems to have been turned up to high. Only thing is I tend to play till my iPhone is too hot to hold on to and have to let it sit and then I have to plug it in because I was playing for so long.

One thing I've noticed... It's odd that the difficulty of level 6 stopwatch is harder than level 8 furie was.

Wow, after casting my vote for "hard but like it," I was shocked to find myself in the vast minority! Don't people enjoy being challenged by their games anymore? I've had several incidents that have taken quite a while to complaint. But the point of failing in games is to go back and improve/change your methods, which Aurora has done on many occasions. I dunno... I like it how it is.

I dunno... I like it how it is. Just wait... I upgraded Furie to level 8 just by getting 100 of each element. It was challenging, but not impossible. Now, I can't even do some of the level 6 challenges! Some of them require getting 180 of two elements. Practically impossible unless you're using some cheap method (like swiping). I prefer not to randomly swipe, and I've all but given up until the update hits.

I can only agree with Aardwolf.
The challenges where I need 125 I manage in approx. 1 out of 3 cases. You just start again if you fail and only reach 124. Furie - the last one - is still a bit off for me. I managed some 80%+ in my only try - but I know it isn't impossible for me when I did it.
I also know that by swiping I can do the Furie VERY easily - and just to check it out I tried a 180 one and managed without problems.
But I don't think changing your style to swiping is the answer.
Maybe I haven't tried hard enough - but so far I didn't wanted to invest hours trying hard when I know a bug which allows it to get done in minutes but feels wrong.
So I wait right now.

I'm a little more methodical and like to align the blocks, even in the Smithe *grin* With the update I wasn't able to do that anymore ... lacking the coordination to easily swirl & swipe has left me flat out to complete them. Maybe there is a middle ground?
AF is good for all levels of gamers b/c it has so much going on. And this is just "The Beginning".
