Well as promised in the tail end of the "Discontinued" thread, here is the new thread to track problems with the new Avatar/Sig host (me) and to post suggestions/requests regarding the generator. Everything that nbnb's generator (the code came from nbnb) did, is still available... in the near future I will add a page on the generator that makes customizing your banners much simpler... until you will have to follow the post that nbnb made. So... enjoy you're free banners and avatars again! af.xnet.org/New way to customize your banner! (old way still works!) just link to af.xnet.org/users/(your id)/ and put the image name as "custom" plus any combination of: _stdbg or _altbg _resources or _noresources _lvl or _nolvl _time or _notime _font1 or _font2 (previously alt (0 or 1) _sizeX (where X is a number > 0 -- 30 is the default) example: TheConfuzed1's image could be created by the following link: af.xnet.org/users/21/custom_lvl_stdbg_time_resources_font2_size33.jpgI know this isnt a huge thing, but it does make it simpler than the 1010101 method and it leads into the possibility of more easily allowing custom avatars on the banners More new stuff: If you have " Ad Hoc Helper" installed on your iPhone, use it to send your UDID to aurorafeint@xnet.org and your ID will be generated and mail back to you with a link to the Artwork Generator. Thanks to asmeurer for the idea and for providing test data while my Mail.app wasnt working.

Thanks again for keeping this alive! You never really quite appreciate what you have, until it is taken away.

Work in progress but figured I'd let you guys see it: tekky.xnet.org/iphone/aurora/ (this isnt a permanent location) and the images created are still the same path as the old one.... Enjoy and please PLEASE provide some feed back on this interface

Enjoy and please PLEASE provide some feed back on this interface Good so far. A few things: the description of where to get the UDID is gone, make the text field exactly big enough to fit the UDID, the hover over makes the arrows disappear, I'd like to see the customization parts built in somehow, and you ought to have an email address that people can send their UDID to via Ad Hoc Helper to get it that way.

I will also be including a way of displaying your personal data on the page (I already have the XML working w/o downloading the XML file to my server anymore, I just need to rework the image pages) 2) the text field is roughly 40 chars in length... the problem is I'm not using a monospace font so some UDID's dont take up as much space... maybe I'll change that... and I know the yellow text is a PITA to see, functionality vs form was my first concerns. 3) as for the hover over, I know it does, and personally I dont think its a huge deal... with the textarea open you dont want to navigate anyways, but if you wish to, the lightbox is fully A11Y supported (Left/UP goes back, RIGHT/DOWN goes foward) 4) Ad Hoc helper.... I'm in the process of trying it on my phone... so far it opens a mail like screeen then crashes I need an email to see what its format is like so I can setup a mail address for my CRON job to check against.... If I cant get this working... its an extremely luxorious item so I wont feel too bad, but I will do my best to get it working Thanks for the feed back!

When the codes appear in the new page, after clicking validate, the first box doesn't have arrows, and when you move your mouse towards the link in there, the area redraws, with the link further away. When you mouse towards the new position for the link, it redraws again, back where it was.
Even so, I did manage to get to see the graphics, and the problem where all my stats are zero is still true.

Even so, I did manage to get to see the graphics, and the problem where all my stats are zero is still true. 1) I seem to have a script thats dieing on fetching the XML sometimes so the first image is coming up screwy but the rest work, I think my latest rewrite that will release in the next few days will provide a fix for that... 2) Just to reiterate this is an AF problem, I can do nothing about it when your XML file comes back with all 0'd data. I have verified this by hand and via Jason that it is the servers problem and the next update should fix it and hopefully he said provide a public facing data page that makes all this easier
