As it stands, almost all the power-ups are earned by going to the smith and playing more of the exact same game as in the mine (albeit with time limits and specific goals). So after I play for an hour to earn enough crystals to buy a blueprint I win the chance to... play the same thing for a few more minutes.
The tower, though. That's the interesting stuff right there. But I've gone through all five of the power-ups that use the tower, and I've got nothing else to do there. Five simple little puzzles? Surely there's going to be more along those lines...

I agree. The tower expands the puzzle by limiting the number of moves possible, truly making it a puzzle (though the ones so far are a bit of a joke if you have spend enough time inn the mine to get to them). Surely it would be possible to have the computer generate these puzzles, making an unlimited number of the available.

maybe the easiest way to create puzzles would be to create it backwards from the final combination with some revertable moves. although I don't know if that is always possible.

I thought about a puzzle generator. A little more complicated than it sounds. With that we do have plans to add content packs for the smithie and the tower (the smithing and alchemy games).
There are additional puzzles for the tower in the update we keep talking about!

Good to hear that there is more coming, I agree that a little more variation would be nice. I know the base of the game isn't supposed to be that complicated but even though I love the game, the basic mining and such does get a little repetitive.

Maybe as an alternative, you could just have a large puzzle with two or three colors and have the player solve it in as few moves as possible, with some kind of bonus for fewer moves. Just an idea…

The more updates that come, the better the game gets. This one is primarily bug fixes with a few extra little things. But give it a year and this game will be better than it is already.

awesome. Im truly excited for the update as those puzzles in the tower are awesome. It was hillarious how many times it took me on one of them before realizing that you could turn the phone and play, but i guess thats what i get for being the kiinda person who likes figuring things out on their own
