These boards used to get tons and tons of messages a day, but they seem to have died down lately. Did I forget to bathe again???

I think people have probably started to get bored. Whenever the next update arrives, this place will liven up again, I'm sure.

In my case, my computer died. I don't like typing on my iPod Touch, so I just read. Either way, I believe that the main reason for this is the lack of updates.
*Waiting for my new computer and updates*
While I'm on the subject, do you guys know if it's possible to transfer my Music, Photos, and Vids from my iPod touch to a new computer?

I don't know if Apple officially supports it, but there are ways (on both Mac and PC) to get your regular non-DRM files off. The purchased music/etc can be transferred by right clicking and selecting "Transfer Purchases" in iTunes. You may have to activate that new computer in iTunes first.

There are plenty of programs that do that. Are you on Mac, or Windows? On Mac, there are two programs, in particular, that I have used and liked in the past-- iPodRipSenutiIf you're on Windows, search for what you're looking for on Version Tracker.

And honestly, if you're moving from a Mac to a Mac or a PC to a PC, the various OSs probably have migration tools to transfer all of your files (including your iTunes library) to the new computer.

Yes, there are migration assistants for when you get a new computer... even if you are switching from a PC to a Mac.
I've never used one before, so I can't give any specific names, but I believe it involves a Firewire cable connected to both devices.
If you need help with this, and you live close to an Apple store, a Mac genius can help. Make sure that you get an appointment first though.

If you want to test something, all you have to do is look at a previous post.
