So, I pretty much think that I am screw but it is worth a try.
I am running firmware 2.0. I saw a AF update on my itunes and updated my backup, when I tried to sync with my iphone it didn't work. Since I had this problem before I decide (dumb I know) to delete (yes, home button + x button) the app from the iphone and sync again. Didn't work. Now any time I tried to install it tells me that I must be running Iphone OS 2.1.
Is there any way (any!!) in which I could possibly get even the old version of AF without upgrading my firmware.

No promises, but here is something quick and dirty you can try.
Open iTunes Right-click on the AF application Choose "Show in Windows Explorer" from the pop-up menu That brings up C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\Mobile Applications on my system. If you are lucky, you will have multiple Aurora Feint IPA files MAKE A BACKUP OF ALL OF THEM!!!! Remove the AF that is in iTunes Drag one of the Aurora Feint IPA files into the iTunes Application area Right click the AF icon and choose Get Info to see the version number Try syncing
If it does not work, remove the app from iTunes and try the next one until you get a previous version that worked.
FYI, I have the following versions: 1.1.0.1 1.1.0.0 1.0.1.1 1.0.1.0

Yes, this solution works. Now, can anybody (ANYBODY!!!!) please give me the last version before OS 2.1 was required... apparently I didn't back up on that one.
Thanks!

I don't know how the iTunes copy protection works, but i know my AF.ipa files are all tied to my account. They will not do you any good. Sorry.

Why don't you just update to firmware 2.1? Because if you have an iPhone, it's free, and if you have an iPod touch, it's also free since you purchased 2.0.

I didn't want to update to 2.1 because I jailbroke my phone and didn't want to do the whole process again (lazy, I know). But aside from this app I was having problems with other apps as well so, I kind of had to. Now I am running firmware 2.1 on my unlocked & jailbroken original iphone, playing AF.... all is right with the world!
