Hello Aurora Feint Dev Team
I already posted this recommendation on Jason's wall in game, but I though the rest of the community might like to see it.
My idea is to add PVE to the game. The forests east of the arena could be called "The Wilds" or something of the like. Players in singles or groups to go there to fight monsters (Essentially, ghosts not tied to a player) . Defeating monsters can give the player progress towards the next level (Like the mine gives you full levels) and crystals, or even equipment if that's in the works, if not that's also a suggestion. There can be different areas of the Wilds, each with brackets of difficulty, therefore the player is not picking a monster to fight but rather may pick a difficulty range.
In a party, players may fight regular monsters but may also confront multiple monsters or enter party only areas with monsters too powerful for a single player. In a party, the bars needed to fill to win is increased based on the number and strength of the players or monsters, making it slightly more difficult to play in a group, however the rewards would be much greater! Parties could choose between an even split or division based on contribution.
On the subject of health, the penalty may vary, some kind of percent of crystals and resources. (Maybe depending on area, with deeper areas leading to loss in level or ability) In parties, the gauge is partioned between the players, when the enemy reaches a partition, that player is knocked out of the fight. Other players may revive them by breaking the orb, but the gauge will not reduce as a result.
That's all I have thought of so far.
If you have already considered this, oh well.
Otherwise I do hope you consider my idea.
If anyone has any additions feel free to write them.
