Hey, I just wanted to let you guys know that my ipod touch froze up when i completed a level in the mine. I hit the home screen and about a couple minutes later it returned to the home screen. However, when i touched the aurora feint icon, it would show the load screen and quit back to the home screen. I turned my ipod touch off and then on, which made the game work again. Other than that, awesome app!

Especially if the iphone is upside down then you lose the confirm menu and it crashes. . .

@ True: That's something i never tried! Holding the phone upside-down when leveling. I'll take a look and see if there's something I can do to make sure it works properly. whoshoo: I've seen that happen a few times. You found the temporary fix for it, just restart your device. That bug should be gone in our next release. Thanks for playing!

It has gone to the next level with me. The app hangs my iPod after a level. It just gets stuck and starts repeating the same background music. And if i cannot get out of it by pressing the Home Button, it automatically switches off the iPod and takes around 3 minutes for the iPod to start up. That too with the iPod connected to a computer.
Is this game only for the iPhone or for the iPod touch also?

It should work on both the iPhone and iPodTouch. We had both during development for testing. We haven't seen the problem that you are running into before. Can you install and play other applications? Is it just Aurora Feint?

Well, the issue occurs only with AF. But now I have reinstalled it on the iPod and the trouble seems to have just disappeared. I'll keep you updated about any further problems when I run into them. Thanks.

I reinstalled the game at a cost though. All my previous game data was erased. So had to start from the scratch again. What are your views about it Dan And Jason?

So, the data in the game is stored doubly, on the device and on the web. If it doesn't have access to the web (specifically our site) the game data on the phone will not sync with the web. So the game will continue to store it locally until it gets a chance to sync. If it never managed to sync before you reinstalled it makes sense that you would lose your data.
We are bummed that this is the case!
To make everyone feel more at ease, the next release should be much more stable. We are also working on our servers to make sure that when you have access to the web the sync goes through at all times. We are growing VERY quickly, so we appreciate the patience and hope to see you all keep playing.

Well, it was in connection with the Server all the time. The WiFi was on and it was connected. And I un installed using the sync option in the iTunes. So the Data should have been backed up before the un installation occurred. Dunno what's wrong but I wouldn't worry much unless its gonna hang up again. 3 hours of gaming from the last install and no crashes yet. It's going good now.
