I was an AF:Beginning player for a long time. I haven't played for a while, but when i saw the Arena game, I decided to buy it.
When I launch Arena, it asks if I would like to retrieve an account. It also says I should go to af.com/verify to verify my account before retrieving. When I go to the website, I am able to see the character I created in AF:B with what I remember my stats to be. When I go to Arena, and enter the exact same information, it tells me that "The username and password do not match the account."
So, am I doing something wrong, or is there an issue? I'm afraid to start a new character or even launch AF:B. I don't want to break it worse.
Someone please help?
EDIT: I've tried everything. AF:B now wants to update my account. Which doesn't work. AF:A wants to transfer my account, which doesn't work. When I verify my account on the web page, I see my username. I'm pretty sure I'm using the correct password. But just to be sure, I click the forgot password button, and every time I try to submit my email (also tried my username), it tells me to check my internet connection, with an OK button that doesn't work. So I have to exit with the home button. When I try to verify my account on the web page with my iPhone serial number, it tells me "No account with that device identifier. "
So I'm pretty sure I know what my username is. I may not be using the correct password, but I have no way of knowing, and no way of resetting it.

I'm having the exact same issues listed here. I have gone through all the steps but the app just won't cooperate with me for some reason. Let us know if you hear anything. Hopefully they are reading these posts

I don't know what we can do, but this ridiculous. I now have two applications that don't work. I understand that there will be bugs with any new application, but we need a better method of support.
It's been days with no response to my problem. And when I browse the forums in hopes of a solution, all I see are people reporting problems, and very few responses with fixes. So either people are being privately contacted for support or there is just no support.

When I try to verify my account on the web page with my iPhone serial number, it tells me "No account with that device identifier. " You are supposed to use the UDID, not the serial number. Here's how to get your UDID into the clipboard so you can paste it into the web form: www.tuaw.com/2008/08/08/iphone-101-find-udid-with-a-single-click/

You are supposed to use the UDID, not the serial number. Well, that just makes things worse. So the UDID thing works. I can input that and get results. If I "verify" the account by putting in a username (not character name) and password, I get the result of a level 27 character. If I use the UDID, I get a level 1 character with no stats and no name.
