This doesn't even sound plausible. Well, we know for a fact some people are a bit concerned about privacy (or they're just bloggers with nothing to write about and they have found some potential privacy issues, and that Jason and Danielle have responded to them (note the appearance of the Privacy page on 'www.aurorafeint.com' beside Forums.) It has probably delayed the update, since Jason had to actually read the privacy issues, respond to them, and put up a whole new page on the website, but it probably wouldn't have delayed the update by much, maybe a few hours at the most. Is there any chance that this directory is linked to the fact that that is how it finds your friends for the community link? People are quick to assume this is for malicious purposes, but could it be they were just trying to make the community easier to find your friends? Granted, I don't remember being asked if this was acceptable during install, I am hoping that people are just being people and assuming the worst. As for me, I love the game and you can have my contacts if it means I can finally play AF with my friends!!!

It's a sad sad time in today's society if people still freak out about their personal info with all the social sites and blogs that broadcast one's life for almost all to see. Anywho, kudos on the privacy info and shame to those who jumped the gun.

For some reason, the app seems to me just a tad bit easier to use with the server features not working. Maybe it's just me, though. On the other hand, I end up losing my account information every time I play, so this is just practise.

yeah, i know it sucks when you put a lot of hard work into something and someone calls it spyware...i mean, it clearly says enter to find your friends! that should be a clear warning AF is going to read your info and do something with it!

I for one had no idea how my phone number was to be used until I came to this site. It wasn't self-explanatory by any means.
