I feel like any blocks that are about to pop should do so upon contact with the top of the screen while your pulling pieces from the bottom. My reasoning is as follows: I absolutely love to set up the four-way alchemist, but it seems more often than not when I try to pull pieces to continue the combo or chain, I am unable to on account of slowly fading pieces all around. This severely dampens my strategy, as I am literally watching helplessly as my remaining pieces fall to nothing. It seems that in most cases implementing this would net you on average 3-4 more rows of blocks before you were stopped by a non-popping block. Obviously it may be the case that you guys wanted it this way, as perhaps the ability to pop them would enable a weapon recovery slightly better making it a touch easier. There is an +/- to everything... ---------- Also, it could tie in to the snake deamon.

Do you know about Instapopping? Tap the pieces that you want to break early, and they will do so on command.

Yeah I know about the insta-pop, I use it constantly, but the last place I want my attention when that alchemist is about to fall is the top of the board!

I think you just need to practice more. I use four-way alchemists too.
If you do it fast enough, you can pull the board all the way up to the top, before placing your tool, and the pieces will not crash into the top.

Try swiping the top row (or two) after a 4-way alchemist, that frees up a few rows at the bottom for noodling with another weapon..

Wow, so I thought until now that to insta-pop you literally had to tap each individual piece, I had no idea you could just run your finger across them that easily.
