Just a random curiosity - I know we just *got* the AF for the iPhone, but if you could choose another platform...

I voted other - Could be good for PSP.
You also forgot to list DS.

@ apollo2230 - I didn't want to get into all of the handhelds and whatnot...just figured since we already play on a portable device, what other platforms would be enticing

I chose other for none. I really don't think this game would be as fun on a computer with a mouse, or any device without an accelerometer and multitouch. Apple really hit gold by putting those in the iPhone.

I would want to keep it on the iPhone, I would not have much interest in a puzzle MMO on Mac/PC, I don't think it would be as fun. There is no 'on the go' factor.

But what if (just go with me for a second) the game were to be expanded from "just" puzzling to other activities, leveling your characters based upon skills you acquire through the iPhone app? I'm just tossing it out there. I agree, by the way, that the purely puzzle-based gameplay would NOT be as interesting on a less portable device and with less spontaneousness of "Oh, the train ride home...guess I'll play AF!"...I'm simply filled with idle curiosity

Splitting off onto other platforms would take away time they could be using to make the game better instead. If they did any other platform I'd assume they would do it for OSX as it is highly similar.

A linked system has potential- mine your resources on your iPod/iPhone, get your gear, fight monsters or whatever on a computer, or battle your friends on wii/360/ps3.
The problem is, though- how would these games be linked thematically? Would we use a wiimote to turn our blocks? An accelerometer in a DS cartridge? Turn over a macbook? What other games would be linked in to this? A 3d mmo? Online point-and-click? Flash game? This all gets complicated.
Seems to me a head-to-head mode on the iPod/iPhone, if that is at all possible, would be very cool. Think Puzzle Fighter (extra blocks appear on top) or ZTetris (extra blocks appear below)

The accelerometer and multi-touch is really what makes this game unique.
I don't think that any other current system could do it justice.

I agree with theconfuzed1 as the only system that could even come near would be the ps3 with the sixaxis as no other console has anything else like the accelerometer

Definitely Mac.
You know, looking at that poll and imagining the game being available for a console to buy - reminds me of how I downloaded this app for free. I STILL cannot believe it.
