I've been playing around with the screen rotation quite a bit and have found that its possible to use the rotation to your advantage.
No, I'm not talking about just turning the screen, but more about the fact that the blocks take time to fall ... so when you rotate the screen the blocks change the direction they are falling in. You can actually use this to your advantage to get multipliers and combos.
I'm not suggesting this is easy, but I have found its possible to take advantage of the fact that the blocks 'float' as you rotate the device to be able to re-arrange them.
Have a play and see what you think.

definitely. And since rotating increases the speed at which the blocks fall, it frees you from having to waste swapping time pulling up more blocks.
