Has this happened to anyone else? I was mining away when I got the low battery warning for my ipod. i dismissed it, and when the game came back on, the volume had increased significantly. I had to yank my earphones off it was so loud. I went out of the game (to my home menu) and then went back in, and the volume was back where it was supposed to be.

I've seen the same issue when receiving a text message and dismissing it. It may be that there is something strange going on with the popup dialogues interfering somehow.

I have had the same problem. I play with the game volume turned off, but when I get the low batter alarm while mining, the volume turns on and if I try to lower it, it just lowers my ringer volume, and not the game volume.

Yes. This started happening today when low battery message appears. And, I have volume limit, equaliser, sound check all set. (I listen to some very old recordings, pre stereo vintage, and am too lazy to change settings *lol*)
There's another thread on "battery life" where other questions have been discussed, too. (Don't know how to quote/link from another thread.) Maybe there is something in the hardware causing this?

Regarding the fact that when you hear the ringer/text message, the game goes back to full volume and adjusting volume only adjusts ringer volume, this is a known bug and will be fixed in future updates. As for battery life, currently I think 5hrs of AF nonstop will drain the battery, varying on your screen brightness settings. brayharper: To post/link an entire thread, copy the URL, in the address bar of the browser, and directly paste it into the Reply box.
