It's only slightly helped my crashes...but it has helped some.
Strangely, the Fortune Cookie (which is cute, but...) crashes my phone almost every time I try to load it, where AF usually only crashes when it's glitching out with the multipliers.
Wacky. Hope this will help at least a little!

Still getting the startup bug after the 2.0.1 update. Did try provoking the superimposed blocks bug. Peloquyn, how did the update help?

It seems (but don't quote me, I haven't a crash log presently) that the glitch when starting from a "resume?" screen causing a crash has been eliminated. However, I've only tested it a few times. My other apps still crash the phone completely so....perhaps I'm just overly anxious to have it actually resolved instead of it *being* resolved?

I haven't crashed since the update...1 whole day w/o a crash, it's nice!

peloquyn, I've found that this glitch is gone as well. Which is fantastic really. With the updates from the devs and from Apple this game will be running smooth in no time!

this new firmware helps control the keyboard lag glitch which is very nice!

It's supposed to fix the backup lag problem too. I wish they would add some features (and without charging us iPod touch users for them, too).

asmeurer: Completely agree. The $9.99 fee for the 2.0 update for iPod owners that was free for the iPhone was probably just so that some lazy programmer at Apple was too lazy to rewrite a few lines of code to make it compatible for the iPod. Meanwhile, about the update itself: It is free, and it contains basically bug fixes, such as shortenting the app load time and better keyboard transition in Safari. For those getting a (-19) error and the message "iTunes could not sync to the iPod "ABC iPod" because..." try entering your passcode so you get to the main home screen.
