So I just updated and I've had a few issues with sms so far.
I got a text, replied, and when I hit the home button I was stuck on a black screen.
I considered it a fluke and went back to playing. Got another text (stupid fiance... KIDDING) and well I was responding I could swear I heard the AF music... I turned up the volume and sure enough it was playing...
Anyone else have this happen?
and on an unrelated topic: I love the new icon!

I was just checking my inventory so I could post changes to my blog and I got a low memory warning as well... so I locked my phone to type and the music continued

I've seen this too except for me in most cases the music stops after about 5-10 seconds after leaving the game, maybe less.

I'll take a look at this. I have seen it take till the home screen for the music to stop but never had it float around during a text.

I tried sitting through a complete back up and did it all over again to see how it would react.
The music still continues but with less frequency and it is no where near as long now. about 2 secs on average if that
I kept getting low memory warnings as well but being patient seems to have payed off.

weird, weird, weird... It is actually noticeable that the music keeps going for a few seconds.

I haven't noticed this, but my music does something else weird while texting. If I get a text while playing and the sound is off for apps but on for ringer, it turns the AF sound on when I ignore the text.

aklame: You said the sound is off for apps... What does this mean?

There are two different volumes, one for ringer and one for apps/ipod. The ringer volume says "ringer" above it when the icon appears as you adjust, the app/ipod volume doesn't have that. Usually, the buttons on the side adjust the ringer volume when you're in the main menu, call menu or texting, and if you're using an app or the ipod, they adjust app/ipod volume.

The music uses in-memory buffers that have predetermined lengths. For various reasons, the music may continue playing until the buffers empty out after terminating or pausing. Has anyone actually had the music continue indefinitely (and loop) after locking/closing/reciving a txt? Please PM me if so. aklame The "app" music volume you're referring to is the volume tied to streaming media. We actually cannot affect the overall volume of music or sound effects. It is done at a lower level by apple's libraries. Sounds like a gnarly bug though. If you can figure out how to reproduce this consistently, I'll file a bug with Apple. PM if you have more details.
