First of all - thanks to the developers. This is an absolute addictive game. I'm late to the party - my first app and still my only one - and for just a week so far.
Back to the issue:
When I started my very first puzzle - fire - cost me 300 wind out of my 320 I had - I saw a solution - tried it - and got a game over. For a while I believed there is a time limit on the magic book puzzles.
As it seems to turn out - I was just clumsy - or - as the thread subject indicates - I feel the motion detecion is just way too sensitive.
Example - I purchased a puzzle - put my iphone down to look at it = got a solution, touched it to do the solution - game over. I had to buy some of the 1 move puzzles three times over.
Don't get me wrong - I think the use of tilting, etc. is absolutely great for the puzzles. But if it is game over because you moved you iPhone 5 cm sideways on the bed - you just feel cheated.
Is it me who is the only one experience this. Is this a setting in the iPhone that might help me.
I love the puzzles - but I don't want them to be an excerice to hold my iphone completely still and stop breathing until I have solved it.
I have an old 8MB 2G iPhone in case this is relevant.

8mb! you must be running a green screen apple II iphone... but seriously, I had this problem too but after it happened twice I just start a puzzle, stare at it for a moment, press the home button, work it out and take as long as I want I know it sucks having to exit out but it's far better than having to go back and keep doing the same puzzle over and over again. hope that helps!

I think he means 8GB. But, i don't think there is such problem with my ipod touch. But did you try to update the app and your firmware? Updating might help.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will try it out. And oops - off course it's 8GB. It's my age - I started with KB on a Commodore 64 and still remember the 640 KB on my first PC - which was a huge upgrade at that time - and yes - this one was green screen. But once I reached the MB stage it also reached colour (well - should say - got colour back again).

I have Aurora Faint updated this morning (1.0.0.1 - well - hope I got the zero's right - it is the new version of today/yesterday) and I also (painfully) updated to the latest iPhone version (still have USB 1.0 and my hard drive needs replacement which is next to it but I'm considering if it is worth a reinstall or if I should get a new computer - and maybe even trying out a Mac).

PS: having seen it in the FAQ - in case someone browses here with puzzle issues. 1 move means moving one item one place to the left/right. Took me a while to figure this one out in conjunction with the movement issues of the iPhone. Tried to do '1' move by moving a single resource from left to right. Oops - this counts as 4 or 5 moves !!! Tilt, etc also counts as one move.
