Danielle, how about instead of re-declining the amount of resources to a lower level, how about increasing the amount of usable tool blocks in a specific challenge? Honestly, I have at least 150 of each and they're not going anywhere fast. I know what you mean about it being possible, but I have a problem with getting huge amounts of specific resources. I was about 5 and 6 blocks away from finishing the level 7 furie challenge before the update, but 140 seems a bit crazy. However, if you foresee tool blocks having more of a use outside challenges, that will be alright and I'll attempt to sharpen multiplier skills. At the rate I'm going now, I don't think it is actually even possible for me to use all of the tool blocks. I only use 3 at a time for blueprints (sometimes less when I forget to add them) and I always get more than 3 between when I get blueprints. Even doing them multiple times, in the course of time it takes me to get mine the resources to do the blueprint I'll generally find at least three items.

I really enjoy this game. It was very well made. The latest update has made the game much more stable. I don't believe my iPhone has crashed since. I understand the developers wanted to make the game more difficult. That is fine...but, to go from 75 resources to 240 on the master levels. That's too difficult. Honestly, it was challenging before. There are a lot more casual , then hard core gamers out there. Most gamers are simply going to give up. Could you make several levels of difficulty? Then all gamers could play to a level that matches their ability and the amount of time they have available to spend.

I managed 8x multipliers several times for a 6/8 blueprint and still came short of the 75/75/75/140/140 essence requirements :/
Maybe I'm doing something wong, but the new criteria seem ridiculously high.

Does anybody know which thread it is that Danielle was referring to? I'm still not quite sure what all the tool blocks do.
I will say though that I combined a furie, and... might have been an alchemy, and wound up with about 640 fires and winds. Not sure how it happened, but combining tools seemed to work well, if unintentionally.

Actually, now that I've completed all the blueprints (without really even trying that hard, but it *did* take multiple attempts on some of them), I think they're just about perfect, considering the techniques the game allows. You just need to "turn off your attack computer and use The Force". Thinking about it and trying to use the tool blocks will prevent you from getting there.

Well, I can't speak for others, but for me it the leveling was very inviting pre 1.0.1.0 update. I always felt like picking it up and play a bit. Any time I had a few minutes I'd pick it up and give it a go.
With the 1.0.1.0 update I played it 15-20 times and never managed more than 65% of the blueprint. (for the average amount required, but on the specific resources it might be 120 of 250 so it's less than 50% of the critical requirements)
This was with loads and loads of combos, almost playing it perfectly as I can see it.
Haven't picked it up since.
I guess this is the least flattering thing a user can say about a product. Regarding my friends they are in the same boat, most people just don't bother writing this on a random board somewhere. Easier just to remove it and forget about it.
You got to remember that 99% of the users that choose to play this are not hardcore gamers that will spend 15 hours trying to find some magic Forceā¢ on how to get passed some retarded limit. Most users are casual players that just want to enjoy it and spend a few minutes having a nice time. Presently this is just not there, I could agree that it might be a bit too easy before, but just a tad. a 10-15% increase might be ok, but 200-300% increase it just whack.
Anyway, I felt like giving my opinion and at least I did what I could.

Oh, and I did try the 'trick' using the tools. As mentioned in the 'other thread'.
It didn't make the slightest of difference on the overall performance. The additional time aligning the units to do this 'trick' is wasted time could being spent trying to do 5x combos.
End result is the same. Less than halfway to the 250 requirements

To me it seems that this is the same as a game like WoW. There are casual players, and then there are those who really want to get to as high a level as possibly. I'm personally glad to hear that the final levels are challenging. For those that don't want to spend a bunch of time on leveling up, no biggy. It's still a fun game.
