Aurora Feint is by-far the best game available for the iPhone/iPod, but there is one thing that I am constantly noting.
The Aurora Feint playing field is comprised of a 6x7 grid, with only 6 horizontal lines playable without risking losing (though admittedly the seventh line is usable for a brief moment).
Panel de Pon / Puzzle League however, which Aurora Feint is based on, has a 6x12 grid. Of course, giving the iPod/iPhone's screen limitations, this is impossible without drastically reducing the size of each block. The screen does however have suitable real estate to allow for a 6x9 grid, ala Pokemon Puzzle Challenge, a variant of Puzzle League. The ninth row need not be playable (as the seventh briefly is at the moment) but could simply be the bottom row being pushed up from the bottom so that there are eight playable rows at most.
Of course, this would require a re-arranging of the game's upper status bar, however this could be achieved I believe with little affect on the overall gameplay. The upper score, for example (the crystal count) could be combined with the single-piece scores (the elements) by being placed towards their right. This line could then be moved to the top, with the menu arrow perhaps marginally shrunken. The progress bar could also be marginally shrunken to allow for more playing room. Aurora Feint gives the player a small chance (a few seconds) to attempt to clear the seventh line before it fully reaches the top. This, I believe, would be unnecessary with a larger playing-field.
A 6x9 playing-field would allow more strategy and depth in the game, and would allow Aurora Feint to be a worthy competitor to (and perhaps better than) the 'Panel de Pon' games!
