I am new to this game, and have only played it once, had to delete and re-download, played it once, delete and re-download, repeat. The game looks good, but I can't get it to work. I have tried various tricks presented here. Can the developers please post a definitive post as to what the situation is? Does the game work for SOME people but not others? That would seem weird to me. Or is it NOT working for everyone? Need better communication from the developers. If there is a thread here that I am missing, please point me to it. Thanks, G.

Works for me... a lot of it depends on what all you use on your phone or iPod.... applications all have a shared memory allotment so anytime another program is running, AF has less available to run in and it causes problems.... typically I open Safari and Mail and hold the home key down until they force quit (actually kills the process) to avoid low memory issues that cause crashes

I'm on a brand new 16 M iPhone 3G. I have been trying to force quit applications, but I had not heard that was a contributor to the game not loading.
What do you play it on? What version of firmware? I am 2.0.2

It works for some people and fails for others, even if they have the same hardware. One gets into a state in which it doesn't work, and it seems stuck in that state in many cases, even after doing purported workarounds like uninstalling on both device and computer, re-starting not connected to WiFi, full shutdowns, and fiddling with audio while the program is loading
As to what it works for some and not others we haven't gotten an answer. We are told it might have something to do with playing an audio file. Since the software plays an audio file the first time it runs there was some potential there for interacting with other programs, though it failed for me even though I wasn't playing any other audio file when first running Aurora Feint.
Apparently there is some sort of fix awaiting approval by Apple for posting at the AppStore, but it is not clear which bugs are fixed and it is not clear whether people with problems in the past need to wipe out their history to use the fix.
The developers have asked people to submit crash logs, but it is not clear whether they still want crash logs - if you send one in you get no acknowledgment.

Thanks for summarizing... its frustrating being one of the "stuck" iphones and getting little information here from the developers. I am downloading again right now. Haven't given up totally yet.

I am downloading again right now. Haven't given up totally yet. I tried a few more things, like doing a reset while the Loading screen was up. No luck, still stuck.

If you delete and download it works on the first run and then fails as usual 20 seconds into loading.
There is a bottleneck of getting programs approved by Apple, and it is not clear whether the folks doing the improving are working over the long weekend. Aurora Feint may have a longer wait than other programs because it was cited for privacy problems previously and because the application is huge.

Also, it sound like the fix to fix the problems will be an update to Aurora Feint, not to the iPhone operating software.
